I have no clue. I don't see any msp430g2553 in there.

    Off course,

I'm not talking about the msp430g2553, but the same problem as " I am running Energia 17. Every so often when I load a program into the editor, the serial port option will be grayed out"

My software Energia 17 and the other version I downloaded until the 18th does not propose to me to select the board

    Look this picture

  2. Hi Rickta59,

    I don't have a real launchpad, i'm working with this :

it's the same protocol to communicate as the launchpad, but the real problem is that I see the riot connect in my system information. but when i open the energia software, the serial port is gray and i can not even select anything.
Yesterday I tried on the mac os 10.10 of a friend and I had the same result

I have an interesting problem that has been popping up over the last several months.  I am presently using a MSP-EXP430G22553 Rev 1.5. I am running Energia 17.  Every so often when I load a program into the editor, the serial port option on the tools menu will be grayed out.  I am able to download the program into the board and the program will run but I am unable to open the serial port window.  I am running Windows 7 and if I look at the ports in device manager, it show port 66 being assigned to the TI board.  This problem will continue for several days and then suddenly it will start to work again.  No matter what program I load, the problem will persist.

Any thoughts would certainly be appreciated.

Hello i've the same problem on my energia apps.

Do you have resolved your problem?

  4. Hello everyone
i am currently working with r-iot from pluX which is a sensor with which one can code with the software Energia, and which is equivalent launchpad CC 3200
80mhz but I have a problem. When I plug the sensor it is well recognized by my mac I see it appear in my system information, but when I run energia I can not select the board in the software. I report that I am on Mac OS 10.10.
Would you have an idea to help me because I need it to update the R-iot
