  1. I have both of v1.3 and v1.4 version LP's and I have found a wiki page about updating eZ430. I've updated my LP's using FET430 UIF and now both of LP's, programing F5x devices too fast. And after the programming Flash(Quick Download in IAR, without Debug) the Reset button is works. In the older revision, I have to unplug and plug the LaunchPad for running the downloaded code.   3. The reason I want to use the Comparator_A : Need to finish this project by using less material as possible. If I like transistor solution, won't be any changes. If I don't like it, seems to use an op-amp Thanks.
  4. @RobG, Thanks for the code and schematics. But in my project, the Schmitt Triggers wouldn't work in Ports. According to the G2553 Datasheet : 0 -> 0.75v , 1 -> 1.35v. I want to detect at least 100mV level. Therefore, the comparator also seems to be useless. But i will try the code. For now I solved this problem as follows;

  7. Do you have a source for this information handy? I've been battling similar problems with the interesting twist being SugarAddict seeing kinda-sorta different behaviour on the exact same (production run) board. Smallest I tried was .1uF I think (also the LP schematics indicate LP uses 1nF, not really sure what was I thinking, but I'd like to read up on this now ). Yes. FET430 wire pinout(SBW) explain that BTW I have tested with 1nF capacitor too. Works
  8. Can you help me how to program to F5438A device with LaunchPad ? I tried it but I got an error message as below. Thanks. The problem was solved. This is a hardware problem as you see the scheme below. The upper limit for RST capacitor is 2.2nF. I changed to 100nF with 2.2nF capacitor. And LaunchPad successfully download and debug the MSP430F5438A device.
