  1. OP is using the G2 Launchpad. It is not supported under Linux.
  2. TI CCS doesn't support either the MSP-EXP430G2. Maybe the included DAP is not supported on Linux at all.
  3. The black ones have prerelease silicon, the new, actual, red ones have the ready to production chips.

  8. My red version uses XMS silicon too, but it is the version C, same as the production IC.
  9. I prefer using header files for register manipulation as MSPware has such long driver descriptions. What do you think about that? What do you prefer and why?
