  1. Hello, I'm looking for connecting a good camera to the beaglebone black for a research project. The raspberry pi has 5MP Camera Board Module support. It uses a dedicated CSI interface. Is the bone capable for such an interface? Even if there was, what about driver support. There are a few other camera capes(not as good as the pi one), including the Logitech 920, but am also looking into the future in case we need to go into production. Any inputs? Thanks!
  2. A tutorial on how to connect a temperature sensor - TMP36 to one of the analog ports of the Beaglebone.
  3. Is there a way to increase the stack size for the Stellaris Launchpad in CCS?
  4. TI just released a video describing the first project with the Stellaris Launchpad. Enjoy!
  5. You are so lucky to get your hands on one. Was there any reason not to use the mic on the board olimex itself?
  6. Over at E2E.. a TI employee mentioned the following:
  7. Also a higher resolution picture.
  8. The launchpad is on the eStore now. Took a pic of it if they take it down ... again.
  9. Sad to see it this way, but I understand from a community stand point.I have high hopes for this community Really eager for the LP.
  10. I wish.. but I'm asking for a lot, especially since it ocmes with USB-OTG ... all at $5.
  11. This looks like good news.. only $5! http://youtu.be/teZyF1IDtCM
  12. Open source flash program for the STM32 ARM processors using the ST bootloader. device identification write to flash/ram read from flash/ram auto-detect Intel HEX or raw binary input format with option to force binary flash from binary file save flash to binary file verify & retry up to N times on failed writes start execution at specified address software reset the device when finished if -g not specified resume already initialized connection (for when reset fails)
  13. Matt Evans cuts his STM32 discovery board in half - the programmer and the debugger to get two boards. Via Hackaday.
  14. Same here. The only use I could think off is huge array tables of fonts or instances where you need to store configurations or logs.
  15. This is way more than what I could ask for. Thanks!
  16. I can now talk to my ADC on my discovery kit. Are there any examples out there to use DMA? I'll try coding it up, but any help is appreciated.
  17. Hello, just want to know how many of you have the STM32 discovery kit. I currently have the STM32F0. Other than the floating point capability, what advantage does the F4 kit have over the F0?
  18. I'm looking around for projects on the Discovery kit and found this. It's the M3 version of the ARM. I have the M0 though. In any case, here it is. It interfaces to a Maxell Ipod infro read remote using a standard serial interface.
  19. Thanks for the warm welcome guys.
  20. This place looks pretty good(design wise). Still looks pretty nascent with <15 members. Just joined through a link someone posted on Hackaday. I have the Discovery M0 kit and hope to learn more. Hope this grows into an awesome community.
