I'm from Europe and we have Nuria Llin, the european counterpart to Larissa. We are currently in contact with her and they are going to support us but maybe we will end up with v1.4 instead of v1.5, nothing that some new chips and a few bridges couldn't solve.

So bad news... In my case it is even worst. I'm part of an university association and we are organizing a microcontroller introductory workshop. We started to organize all this way before the price rise and now we have more than 70 students enrolled. That makes 70*(9.99$-4.30$) = 398.30$ that we didn't expect to spend. Sooo bad news...
