  1. stdmath is not supported by map430-gcc / linker AFAIK. Do you mean porting the library for the msp430/Energia?
  2. Have we a "logarithm" function in Energia? I'm running Energia 0101E0009 Thanks!
  3. Hi, I'm one of the guys behind the Energia port for the CC430. I seem to be experiencing some weird issues with Energia or it's simply that I don't understand how the IDE really works. The main issue is that I have a hardware/msp430/cores/msp430 directory that works on an old version of Energia but not on the latest release, both versions cloned from github. In both cases the code builds and uploads to the CC430 board correctly but "Serial.print" only works when working from the old version of Energia. I want to remark that cores/msp430 is the same in both versions. As a side note, I'm using m
  4. I understand that but I'm not having the same issue when I run Energia from the latest binary release. The sources from github do not include all the mspgcc stuff so I copied the hardware/tools folder from Energia 0101E0009 to the cloned (git) copy of Energia. Is there any other thing I should copy from the standard Energia release? Thanks!
  5. I've been able to run the latest Energia 0101E0009 binaries and compile sketches without problems on my Ubuntu 12.04 (64 bit). However, if I build Energia from its sources and try to compile a sketch I get this error: msp430-g++: error trying to exec 'cc1plus': execvp: No such file or directory I'm using the same Energia/hardware/tools in both installs. Anyone having similar issues (solved or not)? Thanks!
  6. Arduino currently suffers from a limitation regarding definitions. What happens is that definitions from user sketch are not taken into consideration by libraries, at least by cpp files. This is limiting the way to configure the behavior of libraries at precompilation level. Are there any plans to remove this limitation on Energia? Or is keeping the same functionality as Arduino one of the purposes of Energia? Thanks.
  7. No problem on my side. It's just that MSP430Uploader.java relies on mspdebug for the programming task whilst the serial uploader will implement the whole serial comms and BSL protocol under Java. This will make the size of MSP430Uploader.java increase considerably.
  8. Thanks Robert. I understand that MSP430Uploader.java works only for JTAG via the ez430 programmer or the interface available from the Launchpad board. Am I right? Adding support for BSL from "BSLUploader.java" should be quite straightforward. I'll keep you posted about my progresses. Daniel.
  9. I'm starting to look into Zac's fork for the CC430 IC and would like to add support for the serial BSL programming mode. The problem is that I'm not familiar with the Processing project and don't know which Java files need to be modified/created. At this point I only know that any new programmer has to be defined in hardware/msp430/programmers.txt. Thanks in advance for your suggestions. Daniel.
