    Thanks!

    A toilet flush is usually 3gpm for about 40 seconds, some of the other pulses are me running water at the sink while washing dishes.  The very small 0.06 gpm pulses are probably error.  The way that my algorithm works is that it detects a minimum and maximum field over a very long amount of time, then calculates the halfway point as a threshold.  It then counts the number of times that the field has a rising edge through that threshold.  Sometimes the field just oscillates at very low frequency and creates these pulses. I have no idea if it is a small water leak or just some other external field.

    I spent some time playing around with the Si1132 Sensor this afternoon, created a new data stream on analog.io then put it outside on my deck.  Here's the data:

    I ended up playing around with measuring our homes water consumption with MAG3110.  It worked pretty good.  I'm in the process of writing an instructable but here's the data.

    Hi everyone,

    Just wanted to share my flight controller I wrote some time ago

    Here is a video of it:

    The code is available here: https://github.com/Lauszus/LaunchPadFlightController.

    You can read more about it at my blog: http://blog.tkjelectronics.dk/2015/01/launchpad-flight-controller/.

    Short instructions on using the LP's debug with external MCU can be found in http://www.ti.com/lit/ug/spmu365a/spmu365a.pdf, page 32.
    There are several notes on that page explaining what's needed.

    You should rather use
    if ((i == 19) || (i == 20)) val[i - 19] = temp; Since the bytes will be stored in index [0] and [-1] in this case (and index [-1] is not legal)
    if ((i == 19) || (i == 20)) val[19 - i] = temp; Depending on the goal, you could even use separate variables
    if (i == 19) thingy_one = temp; if (i == 20) thingy_two = temp; Of course, declare thingy_one and thingy_two then.

    Mine is a different mechanical cow.... I do have know a group of guys that are developing a new mechanical bucking bull that is supposed to be a lot more realistic feeling than most of the current ones.

    Im building one for training horses to work a cow. I show reined cow horses as my other hobby. Having live cattle are very expensive especially when you can not work them every day.

    So I'm building one of these

    I made them who is starting programming with Tiva. I have some updates I want to make but the time isn't enough for that.
    Trying to get what's already there and adding more that's it's missing (like a more dedicated part to interrupts programming basis) more organized in a workshop stile.

    I know that my ESI project stalled over the Christmas break and I must admit I was struggling with it before that. I notice that nobody else seems to have any updates recently. I feel an update is probably due even if it's just this:

    My impression is that the FR6989 is an awesome chip (especially EnergyTrace++) but that the ESI is a rather... er... how shall I put it... niche interest peripheral. It takes a lot of effort to get the best from it and it's difficult to stretch it beyond the exact use cases already documented by TI. Has everyone else come to a similar conclusion?

    Perhaps this is relevant: https://github.com/energia/Energia/issues/278
    "Serial1 on LaunchPad Stellaris: UART(1) is active on PC_4 / PC_5 but not on PB_0 / PB_1"

    Energia, I believe, treats LM4F/Stellaris and TM4C123/Tiva as the same.

    Ahh I only noticed today while flatening the box for recycling that it had been repackaged on the backside. I was wondering how you managed to get a custom letter inside if it was shipped direct from amazon.

    The kit works well, the only issue I see is that how it is now the batteries are located in the controller, not the robot itself. indicating that the additional weight might be too much, if an MSP were to become it's brains.

    Yes, thank you. I rarely order off amazon, due to alot of items being unable to ship internationally, but I'll find a way to put it to good use.
