  1. Now if I could only find one of these laying around somewhere... lol
  2. Does anyone have any experience with Sonix chips? I came across a few and installed the compiler for kicks, but I am unsure as to how to program them. Any info would be appreciated, Jordan
  3. Is it possible to display custom chars with LCD smartie?
  4. Check this out http://www.chapters.indigo.ca/home/search/?keywords=msp430&pageSize=12, there are 4 books with large price tags, you could however spend the day taking notes in chapters...
  5. Thanks for that, it wasn't the solution but you sent me in a direction. I changed the header file to "#include instead of "#include and it now works fine. I suppose this device is not defined in MSP430.h but the appropriate header is available on its own. Next question is can I simply add MSP430G2152.h to the list in MSP430.h? Thanks again
  6. Thanks for the compliment! Yeah the Rigol is a dream, I did the 100mHz mod and love it to pieces. I'm sure to have tons of questions for you guys, If I could only stay on task. lol
  7. Hello everyone, I have been reading your posts for a while and I have finally gained the courage to come out from behind the bushes and say hello. To be honest I hated the launchpad when it first arrived...but now I'm melting like butter Forgot to mention that i'm in northern Ontario Canada, and a repairer of electronics junk in my spare time of course
  8. Hello everyone, this is my first post here(yay). Anyways i have been messing about trying to program a MSP430G2152 that is in a TSSOP package. I have broken it out to a dip and am attempting to program it. I am just loading a simple blink project to make sure comunication is ok, but i get the error "MSP430: Trouble Writing Memory Block at 0xfffe on Page 0 of Length 0x2: Could not write device memory". The only thing I can think of is the header file maybe? I am using "#include", and have checked and rechecked my soldering and connections. Any help would be greatly appreci
