What a great set of entries. I really enjoyed checking out all the projects. I'll be attempting Greg's clock myself, and surely having a go at eLua some time soon. The synths were cool and I would challenge Joel to robo-Connect4 except he would surely win. Chicken's project was super original, probably the best write up of all, and I would award a prize just for soldering a QFN. Well done everybody.

Yikes!!! I almost did not win.

Now that the pressure is off, time to go finish my project and have fun.

Congrats to the winners. :)

YAY tied for last place :)  someones gotta bring up the rear  hehe

your project would have been my first pick in a 'utility' category if we would have had one.

but I guess a contest like the one there was for the 555 timer would need many more entries. on the other hand having categories (like 'artistic/blinky', 'utility', 'complex') would be cool in the future.

Congratulations to everyone who entered. A lot of nice projects there. It was difficult picking only one to vote for.

For anyone considering the laser cut prize, I can basically manage wood or acrylic up to about 300 x 200mm x 6mm thick (12 x 8 x 0.5"), so ideal for project cases and such. Cutting or vector engraving works well, raster engraving less so. Alternatively if something 3D printed, CNC milled (on a very small mill - only about 120 x 80 x 50mm) or made on a manual lathe suits you better then that's fine. Yes - I've been a bit naughty collecting toys recently.

No expiry date, so if you don't have anything you need right now it can wait until you need a something for an upcoming project.

There were so many good projects that there's no shame in that. (When I entered a PoTM I got no votes at all. ) Also, yours is a really good useful product for a specific purpose rather that the sort of frivolous fun thing that gets votes.

Update: I'm sending prizes in order as members get to choose what they want. I'm at "chicken" now.

Go Chicken! :-)

You almost had my vote, but then came the Scientific Calculator and I'm a sucker for such geekery...

@@igendel, your prize is one it's way. Let us know when you receive it and thank you to Saelig for their sponsorship.

Sweet!

Thanks bluehash, Saelig, and all the other winners who left this prize for me
